AP Band wagon

First I want to congratulate all on thier AP discounts.


There were many of us who have been waiting because they needed the discount, many who wanted to trade up on thier resort, and many who felt abandoned and frustrated based on many of the posts after the Fairy Tale package came out.


I would just like to ask that any of the posters that were happy with thier Rack Rates. ( referring to thier various posts "that the rest of us should not feel entitled to discounts with APs".)

Have they taken advantage of these codes already?

IMHO those of you who were happy with your Rack Rates and were trying to wash our Pixie Dust away, You people should not ask for an AP discount rate until two weeks before arrival . That way you can be pleasantly suprised if you get a discount and if not happy to pay rack rates if you dont get them.

This way those of us who need the AP discount can take full advantage of them with out being sold out.

Actually I think what most of us were saying was quit complaining until you find out that there weren't going to be any AP rates. The only thing that was "washing away the pixie dust" was the long barrage of complaints and threats to go elsewhere if Disney didn't offer the discounts. The complaining was premature and obviously unwarranted as they did just that. Funny, I haven't seen any posts that say..."Gee, I'm sorry, Disney did do something for AP holders".

We're not "entitled" to AP discounts. They're nice if they come out and I'm happy to get them. I won't rant and scream if they don't or threaten to stay at an offsite motel and go to Sea World. That's pretty much what the posts consisted of.

What's the matter, the AP rates come out and you don't have anything to gripe about?

Mary from Mousesavers said she was sorry because she thought there might not be any AP rates for that time as well. I thought that was nice of her to post.
