AP and MNSSHP - Need Help!

I am planning to purchase an AP for our trip in September. Here's where I am confused...can I buy the passes now, and use them to get the AP discount on MNSSHP without activating them until September? Obviously, we don't want to have them active for months before our trip. But, we also do not want to wait till the day before the Halloween party to purchase our Halloween ticket just to get the AP discount. Does anybody have any experience with this? I appreciate the help!

Yes. If you have purchased an AP and have the voucher/certificate/whatever you want to call it linked to your MDE account, you will have access to the AP section of the website and will be able to purchase Halloween party tix at the AP price. We purchased APs online in December 2016, Halloween tix at the AP price in August, and then activated our APs in September last year.
