AP and Magic Band

We have AP bands, never used yet and we don't check in to SSR til tomorrow. My Disney Exp account says they are active. Does that mean they are good to go straight to the turnstile? Not planning on checking in till after lunch. Wanted to go to park in the AM fist. Thanks

MagicBands received for being a passholder can be used for park entry right out of the box.

we bought the PAP's recently with the dvc discount and just got our magic bands for our trip...MDE only says who the pass is assigned to, it doesn't say it's active...so do we have to go somewhere to activate them? can i do that at our resort (BLT)? Thx!

If you pre-purchased the PAP and have either a will call confirmation or exchange certificate (aka voucher), you need to visit either a park ticket window or guest relations location (at theme parks, TTC, DTD or water park) to exchange for your actual pass. The resorts are unable to do anything related to annual passes.

Does MDE show exchange certificate or annual pass? If it says exchange certificate, you have to go to a window first.
