I've read that AP's can now be purchased at the resort "concierge" desks. True?

If so, if I order my AP in advance and choose the "will call" option, can I pick it up at the concierge desk? My trip isn't until October but I would like to buy my AP before the annual price increase in August. I'd rather not pay the $5 to have it shipped to me in advance since I don't need it for anything, and I don't want to forget it or lose it.

Thanks!

Unless things have changed, you can buy a AP certificate now and exchange it at the first park you visit on your vacation.

We bought our APs a couple weeks ago at BCV. However, we had not bought the voucher beforehand.

I think I've confused myself...

If I buy an AP in advance and select the "will call" option, do they actually send me anything:confused3? It costs $5 to have them send the AP (voucher?) to my house, but it is free to do "will call". Without a voucher, what do you give them? Just your name and member ID card?

I think you can do the will call at the guest relations in the resorts now too. I've been seeing posts that people have done exactly what you are proposing. You still cannot purchase a TIW card though. That dining discount card has to be purchased at a guest relations at a park.

When you purchase an annual pass as a will call, you will be given a transaction number. Your purchase is stored in their computer until the date of your trip. You go and give the transaction number, your DVC member card and ID to get the annual pass.

When you go to pick up your annual pass, then you can purchase TIW, as you must have an active annual pass to purchase TIW.

Thanks for the explanations. This is what I was planning on doing so I'm glad to know how it will work.
