Ap activation?

This is my first AP since Magic Bands...... so do I still need to activate it when I get to WDW. We are staying at Beach Club so will be using international gateway entrance. Where would be the best place to activate my AP?

Guest Services at International Gateway. That is also how you get your AP card to get discounts etc.

Still needs to be activated which you can do at any park ticket window or guest relations location.

Yes, still needs to be activated at a guest services location (you can't personalize AP MBs until activated, but like us you'll have your resort MBs to use) . I would like to assume that you could do it at the international gateway entrance to Epcot, but haven't personally done so. We'll be activating ours at DHS

At DHS, I was really glad I'd activated mine at the guest relations outside the park. That's because then, when I walked over to enter the park, my MB didn't show I had it, so I had to show the actual AP.

Yes, you still need to show a valid photo ID for each annual pass member. If you have kids who don't have a photo ID, your word as parents will do. This is to prevent annual passes from being bought by several people and passes around all year.

The Guest Services at International Gateway is my favorite place to activate the pass as it's seldom crowded.

I've done it at international and it was not crowded which made activating it a lot simpler.
