does anyone have the phone number to call to cancel your aol account
i remember a thread about trouble cancelling a few months ago
i hope i dont have a problem
should i make up an excuse or just tell the truth-that aol is too expensive
i dont want them hounding me

when i cancelled 3 months later there was this 14.99 cancelation charge i called and *****ed and got it back they su8k.

Just tell them that you have already committed to DSL or cable and that you don't want there service anymore. Period. Don't accept any of their offers.

I did this and never had a problem.

If it's too expensive, tell them that. Chances are they will reduce your price. Best of both worlds if that truly is your only concern.

I recently canelled my moms account and put her onto mine to save some money and when I called to cancel hers they were very nice and cancelled her no problem, never another charge from them.
