Just got off the phone with AOL and they told me about this great special promo for "bring your own access". I have local cable modem access through my local cable company, but my kids don't want to give up AOL. I was paying $14.95 for AOL, but with the new special offer, it's only $7.95/month unlimited access. This is only for customers with "bring your own access". Call AOL and see if it's available for you! There are some restrictions such as an hourly charge for dial-up service if you are away from home, so it might not be for everyone. There is also another plan for $9.95 if the $7.95 isn't available to you.
