Hi all,

we are from australia and will be travelling to WDW in sept 2013. we will be on a red eye flight, landing at mco approx 7am, so would love to be able to go straight to a room & crash/have a shower/refresh before hitting the parks.

we have done this before at other hotels by booking our reservation starting the night before we arrive, so that the room is already reserved for us and we just check in when we arrive, however just wondering if this is something disney accommodates, and especially at AoA family suites...

your assistance would be hugely appreciated.

thanks :)

Are you asking about a room only reservation for one night? You can absolutely do that. we just did that Art of Animation. They will give you room keycards. The following morning you will need to get new cards to include room key and park tickets, plus dining plan if you will be using that.

You want to ask about staying in the same room. They originally had us moving from Nemo to Lion King but they set us up to stay in one room the whole time.

Have a wonderful time!

Check in is at 3pm. If your room is ready before that you can have it. It may not be however. I would call the resort directly and explain your situation...they might surprise you. I think that if you book the room for the night before your 7am arrival they might consider you a no show if you do not check in.

I think it might be best to call.

Yes, you can add that night before (if it's available), but I would also explain your situation about not arriving until 7 a.m. the next morning so your reservation can be noted; otherwise, your reservation would be cancelled when you don't check in for that first night. If you want to be guaranteed a room when you get there, it's probably best to book that first night. With that said, September is a slower time, so you might get lucky and your room be available that early on your arrival day, but it's not a guarantee. Also, you will have to call CRO to have your reservation noted. If you try calling the phone number associated with the resort, you will be talking to a call center. They will answer the call as if they are at that specific resort, but all of those calls are routed to a call center and not to the resort directly. Good luck.

Thanks all .. Maybe we will just change our plans around and fly in at a different time .. I am a big fan of keeping it simple whole on vacay and special requests and hoping for a best case scenario arent really my thing..
