AoA LM vs other values

For anyone who has stayed in a LM room at AoA and another value resort, would it be worth it to give up the Summer discount to stay at this new resort? For us it would mean dropping down to the QS DDP and giving up a few T'S meals for the same amount of money.

As much as my DD5 wanted to stay in Little Mermaid rooms at AoA I just couldn't do it for the price difference. When those rooms are included in discounts then we will stay there and if there not lots of other resorts to try. Actually ended up booking at POR.

I've stayed at LM AoA and ASMu.

For another value trip I'd pick ASMu (or any AllStar) over AoA.

It was nice but but I prefer the size, feel, and ease of Music over Animation.

Plus I'm not a huge icon fan. Ursula creeped me out.

If the pool is important I know that the main pool at AoA has gotten great reviews so that might be a consideration if your kids are pool snobs and wouldn't be happy with a basic pool.

I did not think the walk was huge from LM to bus/food, but I know that has been a huge factor to many, so an AllStar might be the better option.

I was also happy with the AllStar menu, though AoA has a different selection and is preferred by some.

Music and AoA LM rooms are pretty much the same size and configurations so I don't think the rooms make any difference.

For me it was all about the actual resort and the fact that ASMu is cheaper. I would choose the less expensive and do the extras in the parks and dinning.

Thanks! We are actually already booked at ASMU now, but I saw the availability at AoA and started 2nd guessing myself. Newer rooms and the pool with underwater music seem to be the only plus of the AoA.
