Doing a trip with 5 adults in January. One of them will just be there for one night, so it's really more like 4 adults. Right now an AoA family suite and a 1 bedroom villa at Saratoga are the same price with my passholder discount. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Does a SS one bedroom sleep 5 legally? If so, I would choose SS for an adults only trip for the calmer environment and proximity to Disney Springs.

i think you're all right about it not legally sleeping 5--we would probably bone up for an extra room that one night

Saratoga does not yet sleep 5 legally on cash, and on points it still only has 4 beds (save the refurb units, of which there are not many yet!).

Will you use the kitchen in the villa or is the kitchenette in the AoA suite enough? Is it important to have 2 full bathrooms or will 1 split bath be ok? Do you need to be able to do laundry?

For me, with 4 or 5 adults, I want 2 bathrooms and I have no desire to cook anything while we're on vacation and in-room laundry would be nice, but isn't critical for us. The 2 full bathroom thing *is* critical for us, so I'd be at AoA. I should probably mention that we've stayed in a suite at AoA 4 times so far with our teen/adult children and we love it there. So I might be a bit biased. :D
