We are throwing my Mom a suprise 50th birthday party and I really wanted to use this picture for the cake but as you can see its in pretty bad shape. Anyway we can fix it a little?
No problem! Don't run off to the bakery just yet though as I am sure that someone on here could probably take what I did and improve upon it even more. I still don't like the look of the face so much. It is a little plain looking. Better than it was, but there is something missing. I wish I knew how to make the shadows better. If noone does better with this, I hope it turns out great!
Another option is to ask Master Mason to enter it into the photoshop contest here! Of course, your mom with a Donald Duck face might not be what you are looking for.
I did this one for an employee of mine. It started as a 1"x1.5" with ballpoint writing on the back.
This one can be printed 8x10:
From one little scrap of photo paper, the only picture of their great grandfather. Isn't photoshop great? Now every family member has his picture in their house.
and this was my first real attempt at retouching. If you want to see amazing talent check out the retouching forum at www.dpreview.com
