We have some used 10 -day park hoppers. We use to check them at the Disney store, but now that they have been sold, we can no longer do that. Does anybody know how we can find out, how many days we have left on our park hoppers before returning to Disney??? :confused3

My understanding is that you can now only get them checked at Guest Services in one of the parks, but I could be wrong...

I had several assorted old tix. The Downtown Disney CM was very nice. We changed my niece's old ticket from a previous trip from a child to an adult (no charge). She even wrote on my tix with a Sharpie for me so I wouldn't forget which one had what. :thumbsup2

we just found some old tickets that my MIL had when wdw first opened. The tickets are in a booklet and you tear a ticket out , it looks like the tickets are for each section of the MK. I wonder if i can trade those in for new tickets :lmao:

Unfortunately, the illegal market for secondary sales of park passes seems to have made it impossible for Disney to offer this service by telephone, so you do indeed need to have them checked by presenting them in-person to a Disney CM with access to the admissions system. Sorry.

You actually can! Youi will get next to nothing in credit since they were cheaper then.

I would post them on EBAY. Disney collectors eat this kind of thing up. (I remember using those tickets!) :rotfl2:

You can't trade them in for new tickets unless you have the complete unused ticket book including the MK admission ticket and the transportation ticket. But you can use the dollar value of them towards a new MYW ticket if you'd like. Your credit will be (are you sitting down for this?):

$.10 for each A ticket
$.25 for each B ticket
$.50 for each C ticket
$.75 for each D ticket
$.90 for each E ticket

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

As Carol said, realistically you are far better off selling them on Ebay or adding them to your family scrapbook for a nice keepsake.

Thanks everybody for your help!
That is what I thought, but just wondering if somebody knew something I didn't !!

Thanks

They will check them at the desk at the resorts, had mined checked at OKW.

I had some old hoppers checked for pluses at the guest services to the right of the turnstiles at the MK entrance. It only took a second, and I found out they each had a plus left. :)

I checked some tix at the front desk at a resort was told that there weren't any hoppers left, I knew there was at least one and checked at Guest relations at MGM. I was right so depending on the age of the ticket I think I'd do it at a park.

I think i will just keep the old "tickets" and put them in a frame around a pic that i found of DH shaking Mickeys hand when wdw first opened. wow mickey has come along way since then, thank goodness :thumbsup2 , he looks more like a rat then a cute mouse now :goodvibes thank you for all the suggestions, i actually feel that the tickets are worth more to me by just keeping them.
