Anything in WoodyWoodpecker Zone besides ET we should bother with?

It's DH, me DD17 & DS11 (close to 12). We are going in August. We've been to IOA/US in either 2002, 2003 or 2004 - I don't remember which trip it was.

Just wondering if there is anything to do that is fun there or if it's all too kidish besides ET? We loved Dr. Suess Land back then.

We like ET and the Animal Actors show. Otherwise, we skip that area. DD is 17, almost 18 and DS is 15, almost 16.

Thanks - that is probably what we did last time, I just couldn't remember.

Wow looking at the rides at US, there isn't a ton of them. I remember MIB taking forever to wait in line though.

If you're not staying on-site by noon the lines for the more popular rides will be getting long (I see you'll be there in August). We were there during the same time frame in August 2007. We stayed off-site and got there for park opening. We got a lot done between 9-11 am (lines were 0-15 min).

If you're staying on site you'll have the unlimited Express Pass so you really won't have to worry about lines.

If you go way to the back behind the playgrounds, you'll find this building where you can climb and throw/shoot balls at each other...probably doesn't sound appealing now, but when you get there, it's fun. Also, the Woody Woodpecker roller coaster (the Studios' equivalent to the Flying Unicorn) is behind the Feivel Playground

The Woody Woodpecker Nuthouse coaster is actually kinda fun if you aren't that crazy about coasters. I rode with my niece a couple of years ago and she really liked it.

BTW...while you're back that way...look for this building. It's the old Hard Rock Cafe before CityWalk was built. Lots of people don't pay any attention to the fact it's still there. ;)

That is cool to know. I love it when I can tell the family neat little things.

Thanks everyone :)

I used to eat there years ago when my father-in-law was the GM for Hard Rock, southern states.:thumbsup2
