Anything I should change?

Granted I can't make ADRs for another month and a half (clearly planning is just another way for me to procrastinate :rolleyes1), but I wanted to see if anything on this list is really terrible. Also, if any vegetarians out there know that any of these restaurants have awful veggie options, let me know! My mom eats everything, but I do not eat meat or fish. Thanks!

Crystal Palace Breakfast
Tusker House Lunch (been & liked it)
Brown Derby Imagineer Lunch
Hoop de doo Review (been & liked it)
Coral Reef Dinner
Tutto Italia Dinner
Ohana Dinner (been & liked it)
Raglan Road Dinner

Crystal Palace breakfast - good character interaction, not good food
Tusker house lunch - great food, interesting setting
Brown Derby - fantastic food
HDDR - great food, good entertainment
Coral Reef - really neat setting, horrible food (been 3x, getting worse with each visit)
Tutto Italia - never been, already on the schedule for next trip
O'Hana - really nice setting, great food
Raglan Road - never been

Some suggestion I would make are:

Bier Garten - great food, great show
Le Cellier - if you can get a ressie, its worth it
O'Hana breakfast - great characters, great food

Good luck, hope that helps :)

Thanks for the response! I was actually considering Biergarten but was a little concerned it might be all meat? It does seem entertaining though! I have read lots of mixed reviews about Coral Reef - If anything I think that may be the one that I change.

I did go to Le Cellier on my last trip a few weeks ago. Although my mom said her steak was great, I just wasn't crazy about the vegetarian dish they had. Granted I could ask them to whip something up with the sides that they have, but I was also interested in trying out some places that I'd never been before. There were just a few that I couldn't let go of though!

I would agree with PP. Coral Reef has a great atmosphere but the food there was the worst I've ever had at the World. The whole group of 4 adults were disappointed and we all got different entrees!

My DH and I love Raglan Road and have been several times with our families as well. However, it is pretty heavy pub-like fare, and I'm not sure if they have a lot of veggie options. You may want to check out their menu on allears.net.

Of the restaurants on your list that we've been to...we don't like the Coral Reef at all...the food was quite disappointing. We also don't like Crystal Palace; however, we've only been there for dinner so the breakfast may be ok. I know alot of people on these boards seem to like CP, but when we were there last year, we thought it was dirty and the food just so-so (even the salmon that everyone seems to really like). Not to mention, we waited an hour past our ADR time. We actually had to go over to Casey's to get our son a hot dog because he was so hungry.

We loved the Tusker House lunch when we were there in 2008 - we skipped it last year due to scheduling/plans. And, we love Tutto Italia - it's a must do for us every year. Happy eating!

I am a vegetarian too! I don't eat meat, fish, or chicken. Do you eat chicken?

Last time we ate @ the Biergarten. My family LOVED it. I, did not. There was not much for me to eat at all. The restaurant was nice, good entertainment, and our waiter was the best! BUT...I left hungry!

Have you thought about Boma @ the AK lodge? Great vegetarian options! I think you'll like it!

I do not think Raglan Road is a good option for vegetarians. They are very meat-centric from what I've seen. Go to Boma instead! :)

I don't eat chicken either. I was afraid of there not being much at Biergarten, even though it seems like a really fun option. I thought I had read a post about a family getting a special made veggie meal there, but I wouldn't want to put them through the trouble of making a special meal just for one person, when they're not making food to order.

I've been to Boma a few times - and LOVE it. I guess I was just eager to try out some new places and more TS that are in the parks. Maybe I will work it back in.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

I had the same problem at Biergarten. I'm not a vegatarian. I just don't care for meat. I found a couple salads I liked okay. Other than that I ate bread. I definitely don't plan to return. The menu doesn't work for me.

I don't want to give a negative vibe, so I won't comment on your choices. Admittedly, we're probably more critical than most. I will say HBD is fabulous. Great choice! Have fun planning.

I'm curious of what you ate a Hoop De Review?
I thought it was mostly meat?
that's why I haven't been.
Are there good sides? did you request a Veggie meal?

Loved Tutto, very good food, lots to choose from.
Ate at Tusker house for breakfast and really enjoyed it.

Yup, you can call and request a vegetarian meal. The first time I went I just got pasta with marinara sauce - pretty disappointing, although I don't know what I was expecting. The last time I went I ordered grilled veggies, which were delicious! They were just so well seasoned and it came in a generous portion too. It felt good to not just eat a big bowl of carbs. It came w/ a baked potato, but I also had a little of the mashed since it came out with the meats. It also comes with salad, DELICIOUS cornbread, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. I could have caught them on a particularly good night, but I would highly suggest ordering the grilled veggies if you want to go to the show! Just call a few days ahead.
