My sister was asking me if I knew anything about it, she is thinking of taking one of my nephews and one of my brothers daughters to it in November. Any impressions?

My daughter has done this twice. She loved it and the second time dressed as Alice to attend. There were boys there every time and were treated extra special and got to do a special job.

It is run by the CM who work in the Grand Floridian Children's club. They also do the Cooking activity. The Mad Hatter and Alice visit at the end and they take a photo and give it to you in a nice folder.

You drop them off at 1900 Park Fare and can watch the children find a seat at the party. The children then wave you off. We do not have a cell phone that works in the US so they gave us a pager to take with us in case we needed to come back. The security was excellent, as the door was locked and they were very stricked about checking paper work to make sure you were picking up the correct child. There is a little surprise when you pick up your child at the end.

We did this when the price was half what it is now. They use to give the children lunch but I don't think they do that anymore. It is just cupcakes and juice now. Double the price with less stuff.....must be "due to Guest Demand":rolleyes1

My DD did this in 2006 so it's been awhile. I though it looked neat but parents aren't allowed. We were given a pager and we just explored the GF for a little while then my pager went off. I rushed to the party expecting the worst ( blood, broken bones) and arrived to a sobbing DD. Apparently the Mad Hatter was a little frightening to my DD. She is very sensitive and she just got scared....I am sure he was very nice to her ( she was 4 1/2). We have a polaroid of her with Alice and the Mad Hatter and the look on her face is priceless. Kinda like this :scared1: :lmao::lmao:

Anyway I am sure it will be fun there were just as many boys when she went as girls. Even one dressed like one of the incredibles.

She could handle screaming dino's but not the Mad Hatter...who knew
