I wasn't sure where to post this. I originally posted in the budget board but maybe here is better for a response. We have a trip in Feb 2014 I've been trying to see the past trends for Free dining. Of course the past doesn't predict the fututre but I'd like to know if it's possible. I have found info on free dining dates for 2012. Does anyone know if there were free dining date in Feb 2013(last month)? If so could you tell me the dates? If need be i would change travel dates a little if we needed to for free dining so if anyone knows the above info for the end of Jan 2013 that would be helpful as well.

I would also like to confirm the policy : if you start your vacation on a free dining date it covers the entire trip even if the promo stops.

There was no general public free dining offer for January or February 2013. The Stay Play and Dine package was offered instead.

May have been PIN codes, but nobody seems to track those.

Yes, it is only the check- in date that must be in the promotion period.

True - for February 2013 there was no free dining offer to the public. I believe they are starting to offer the Play, Stay and Dine offers to the public instead of free dining. Also, the offer also came out later for February 2013 package bookings than in past years. For Jan 2011 and Feb 2012, the offers came out in early to mid August so I when I booked my package, I could take advantage of the offer. For our February 2013 stay, I booked in August 2012 when 2013 reservations became available and so I could make my ADRs at the 180 day mark. The Play, Stay and Dine offer didn't come out until mid-October. They applied the coupon code to my original reservation and it was still a pretty good savings. Not as great as free dining, but it was decent.
