Anyone with experience with Dave's Rental

We have points that have to be used by 7/31/12 and I'm just not in the mood to give them away, again. I'm just feeling old and cranky today.

I know I don't want the responsibility of handling a transaction with a stranger and I was wondering if anyone would be able to share your experience with Dave.

One question I have is what if the renter trashes the room or walks out on a bill, are we responsible for that if Dave handles the transaction.

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.
 
I do not have any experience with David's. Since they are a Canadian based company I was a little leery of using them to rent out points. The Timeshare Store also rents points and we have done a few contracts. They are very quick about it. PM me if you would like additional details.

The DVC member is always responsible.
 
I used David's service once. It was very quick, very easy and very smooth. I'd have no issue with going back to his service again if I didn't want to rent out points myself. :thumbsup2
 

David is just an "agent", handling the money & the paperwork for the member. The member makes the reservation and would be responsible for any problems.
