Yes, just went to BLT in March and had an ECV. No problems as far as fitting in the elevators and I even had the Pride Maxima scooter. The only issue I had was that the elevators at the contemporary do get busy and I had to wait some for our turn to come around. Now that the Skyway Bridge is open again, I would think you would miss a lot of that.

Stayed at BLT with my sister, both of us on EVC’s and no issues at all.

Why was the bridge closed? Also, if someone wants to get to the monorail from BLT, what are the options?

In March when we went they had the lower half of the north side of BLT closed down for refurbishment and that included the skyway bridge. It has been reopened since then, as they have moved the refurbishment to the south side now.

Now if you want to go to the Monorail, go to the 5th floor and take the skyway bridge over to Contemporary and you will be on the same floor as security to get on the monorail. ECV's still have to take a quick elevator ride up one floor to get to the monorail, but I never found that elevator to be all that busy since it was solely used for access to the monorail.

Another option would be to go to the ground floor of BLT and go over to contemporary and ride the elevator up to the 4th floor, but that I found to be time consuming.
