Hi - thinking this might be very unlikely... but we somehow got the Deluxe Family Cabana (#21, includes 10, fits 16), but really wanted a regular family cabana. Would anyone want to switch??

Oh thanks! I think I'm losing my mind - I corrected the date in the title. :) I did post on the cruise meet thread as well - thank you!

The same thing happened to us on a cruise earlier this year. As soon as we got on board, we let the concierge team know that we were willing to switch to a larger cabana if one of the other cabana renters wanted the larger one.

They contacted us the next day letting us know that they had guests that wanted to switch and we ended up with cabana 12 instead.

Good luck.

Ooh! That's very reassuring! CS also suggested that as an option, but found that their cancellation policy (3 days prior to sailing) meant we may be stuck with paying if we didn't find a switch. I wonder how likely we'll find folks that want to switch too.. Cross fingers and thank you!

You might be better off trying to find a family to share it or giving it up completely if you don't want to pay? Maybe a half day each with another family? If you're on the November 29th Magic sailing I know there were a few people interested that missed out on a cabana.

we wanted the cabana either way, so if someone wasnt willing to trade.............we would have just used the larger cabana so the cancellation policy didnt affect us.
