My friends think I'm nuts. I make itineraries for everything even day trips with the kids. I like to know what we are doing when especially eating meals. I have created one for each day we will be in California. (I'm a MAC so I can't utilize RideMax.)

Our first full day is Tuesday, April 14. As suggested, we are utilizing MM that day. This is what I consider to be the most important day because of MM. The other days I'm not as concerned about.

I just want to make sure I'm on track and not trying to overwhelm the family.

This is what we usually do on our MM.....no matter the crowds:

Start at Peter Pan, followed by Dumbo. Next up is the Matterhorn, then Alice & the teacups. After that if there's time we do Mr Toad, Storybookland Boats, & Casey Jr. I've yet to get the Snow White & Pinocchio personally. If IASW is open, I'd try to get to it after the teacups & skip the rest of Fantasyland. But that's our routine & preferences!!

Nemo or Peter Pan first, these rides get full pretty quick and are slow loading compared to other rides. We have had success riding PP first on non MM days too. Good time to do all the FL rides including Matahorn, aim to be at the space mountain FP kiosks right on official park opening time alternatively they tend to have a really short use time which means you can get another FP almost straight away.

We got a space FP then wandered over to splash, rode it and by the time we got out could get a FP for it. You can use the FPs later than their marked time so we used them when the park got busier.

Tuesday 14th will be two days after Easter Sunday & the calender indicates a 7am MM opening. I would be prepared for a crowded day.

Some have reported that on crowded MM days.....you might not be able to get as much done as medium or light crowds.

My preferred order is:

- PP (first....always first & try to be one of the first on).
- Dumbo (it's 10 steps from the PP exit)
- Alice (very slow loader)
- Matterhorn (both sides)

- Tea Cups/Toady (either order)

- Pinocchio/SnowWhite/Carousel (any order)

A few Thoughts:

- If you're not one of the first on PP, you might want to skip it altogether that day. (& to be first on, line up at the security table no later than 6:20am)
- if you're skipping the final 3 above (& one or two of the others)....you might be able to squeeze Buzz &/or SM in at the end.
- I think it's been confirmed that Storybookland/Casey's & IASW aren't running during MM.
- IF.....you're thinking about doing Nemo during MM....a couple of people have mentioned doing Nemo AFTER the rush BUT before MM ending (at the :45 - :50 mark)
- BUT....I agree with Kiwi above....that it's advisable to pick up your first FP at 8:00am sharp (perhaps at SM)....& riding Nemo late during MM might interfere with this strategy.

Have a great time in Fantasyland during MM. (& PP first):thumbsup2

We just did MM on Tues 3/17. It was really crowded, more than I expected.
I tried to follow the plan on here but were not able to do it all because of the crowds. :(
Peter Pan (waited 5+ min) and we were at the front of rope drop and still had a good 20-30 people ahead of us!!!
Dumbo (waited 10 min)
Toad (waited 10+ min) (we should have done alice or matterhorn here instead but the line was growing at toad and we just got off dumbo so went there)
Alice (waited 10+) min
Tried matterhorn line was really long the CM said 20 min so we skipped it
I ran to get FP at Space (which dummy me they said they were not giving out FP yet and the line for FP was crazy long!!!!! so that was a waste of my time so I ran back to meet my family--had told my DH and kids to go to pinnochio. (5-10 min)
Then we rode pinochio (not much of a wait) and Snow White (not much of a wait).

So we did not do tea cups, matterhorn, carousel, story book, or nemo. We did get to toon town (by accident) right when they did rope drop there and were able to see goofy, mickey and minnie pretty quickly. We did it's a small world later on in the day.

We are going to do our MM this Sunday, but our agenda is :

Peter Pan
Alice in Wonderland
Mr. Toad
**(I don't think these are open until the park actually opens, but next on our list is Small World, Storybook Boats, Casey Jr)
Matterhorn
Autopia
Buzz Lightyear

By the time that is done, we plan on getting FP's for Splash Mountain & going on it, then moving to Indiana Jones and then POTC & Haunted Mansion.

Thank you all!

My original plan was DUMBO first -- but I have changed it to PP. Which is funny because that is my DHs initials. So we start our first DLR trip with all 3 kids at PP!

I'm reading everything I can get my hands on and am definitely anticipating a high volume of people for sure.
