If you're a thrill seeker, I just want your opinion. What is Expedition Everest like? I'm not really a roller coaster person, but based off of what I've seen of the ride, it doesn't seem so bad, despite the fact that it goes backwards at times. I just want to know if I could handle it.

It's very similar to Thunder Mountain at Magic Kingdom if you have ever been on that attraction. However, it's a little bit faster, has bigger drops, goes backwards, and there's a giant Yeti that scares you at the end. All in all it's a fantastic attraction! Just be aware if you are going with small ones there is a height requirement of forty-four inches. Make sure when you go to Animal Kingdom you get there early and get a fast pass for the attraction. It's very popular and the fast passes are usually gone by noon. Without it, you may be waiting anywere from thirty minutes to two hours depending on the time of season!! :thumbsup2

It's an awesome ride! I wouldn't say that I'm a coaster person, but I really  this ride! I like coasters like space mountain, and big thunder mountain rr as well -- hated rock 'n rollercoaster though (1 time was enough for me), but my DD  it. By the 3rd time on it, I had my hands all the way in the air -- great ride. :teeth:

Well, coming from a person who's terrified of roller coasters, this will sound a bit strange. I LOVE IT! I've been on it about 10 times already. (The lines are loooong and the FastPasses go quickly; they're usually gone by noon.) My advice: sit in the front. You won't get the "whip action" of the back of the train, so therefore you won't get much air time on the drops (which is my main problem). Plus, if it's sunny you can see the tracks. It's really cool to see how the track switches... if you don't already know I'll let you find out for yourself but I can tell you this: it's really cool. And don't get so concentrated on looking at the tracks that you don't take time to look up and see the Yeti; it's amazing!
