I need a hotel kinda close to East Oak Street, I have no idea where it is except on mapquest, but I only need a one night stay we are coming in early and I have to try to be near there for that day if possible

I don't live in Kissimmee, but I go to the parks in Orlando often and usually get off the Turnpike in the 192 exit at Kissimmee.I looked up where East Oak street is at and maybe somebody who does live there does know of a nice place close to there, but all I know is that 192 is the main drag where all the hotels/motels are at and as the years have passed the hotels in this part of Kissimmee have become run-down.I wouldn't stay at any hotel east of 535 on 192,I suggest the Comfort Suites next to Old Town on Florida Plaza Blvd.,but there are other places not too bad on 192 west of 535 closer to Disney,I've also stayed at a Travelodge that was recently converted to a Holiday Inn across the street from Old Town and it was pretty good as well. From this area I would say it's not more than a 15 minute drive to where you need to go on East oak street.

Try Google Maps -- you can do a search for hotels around that street -- here's a direct link for you with all of them listed and marked on a map.

There are 5 in the immediate vicinity, should give you a good starting point...

The hotels on 192 right in the Oak street area that are listed on Google aren't places you really want to stay. The Quality Inn listed at Heritage Park would be your best bet at 3.5 miles away from Oak Street. I'm assuming you have a car to get around. That is closer to the Turnpike and a much safer area to stay.

I use to live and work in that area at the community college and honestly, when we had people coming in, we always suggested they stay at Lake Buena Vista and pay the toll and take Osceola parkway over. The hotels in that area of 192, even those off the turnpike, are not that nice and often are used for low cost housing.

If you stay at the La Quinta, Royal Caribe, Buena Vista Suites or anything in that area, you can take the Osceola Parkway over and be there in a short amount of time (less than 15 minutes)....you could take 192 over and not pay tolls but with traffic and lights, it takes much longer.
