We are going to WDW next Friday, just ckecked on the weather forcast, high 90 and low 70.

Is it really HOT and humid down there right now?

Thanks:D

I am not sure about now but I have gone around Memorial day and it can be very hot and humid..... maybe it is still too early for that.. Hopefully someone who has been recently can answer this for you.. :)

Not been to the parks in a month or so but we live about 70 min from there in daytona and here it has been in the 90s.

Humidity about 80% or more so yes its hot.
We are going over for all 5 star war weekends and looks like
lots and lots or drinking water for us.

Ron.

It was 85 last week, but the great thing about Disney, is they have air-condition everywhere. And if you are standing in lines, they have fans blowing on you.

Epcot is hot though, they have more concrete area's (open area's), just take your time, find shade tree's.

We went 2 years ago in June and it was in the 100's. We really didn't even notice until you walk to your next destination to get in line, then air condition and fans again.

Yes, it's hot. We were there last weekend, and it wasn't too bad, but since then it's gotten hotter and more humid (we live 90 miles away in Tampa). Expect to drink a lot of water, and I think we're getting ready to start the central Florida afternoon thunderstorm routine (don't worry, they're over with in 30 minutes).

We just got back on tues night. It was hot. My advice, start early,
take a break in the afternoon, and drink lots and lots of water.

IT'S HOT!!!!

We were in the parks for the last week or so and the heat was really draining us. I would suggest getting there early to do outside things and then try to be inside during the middle of the day. We spent about 2 hours watching American Vybe and Voices of Liberty at the American Adventure just to cool down (and enjoy the music of course!!) We had a 2 yr old with us so we would take her to the splash areas at Epcot to cool her down. Prepare for the heat, make sure you drink lots of water and try to get into the AC when you can.

Right now it is very hot. It was 91 yesterday and the high today is 94. Drink lots of water and duck into some air conditioning when possible. And take it slow. And when in Epcot, don't be shy about running through the water sprinklers a few times to cool off.

I feel like I have been chilled to the bone for the last 6 or 7 months! I would love to feel hot right now...Lacee

It was HOT last week! We were watching Tarzan Rocks in a "shaded area" but I swear the air wasn't moving.....Get to the parks early, drink lots of water and take a mid-day break at the hotel. Also, I noticed my family did better if we had a good breakfast to start the day.

Just interested, am I the only one that intentionally goes in summer because it's hot? To me, it's not vacation if the back of my shirt is dry.....

Pat

We'll be there next week so we'll be prepared with lots of water and a mini fan :p How were the crowds earlier in the day? Did lots of other people had the same idea?

I LOVE IT HOT! Our "summers" here in the Pacific Northwest are nothing--people freak when it hits 80! 80-degree weather is considered a major heat wave (of course no one has air conditioning either). I grew up in Virginia so I miss those hot, humid summers I remember as a kid. During Seattle summers, my kids can RARELY even wear tank-tops---typical summer weather here is low 70's with no humidity. Throw a lot of 60 degree days in there too.

I haven't gone to WDW in the summer yet, but definitely plan to. Our past several summer vacations have included a week in Wisconsin (YES! WISCONSIN! BRING ON THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY! MY KIDS CAN ACTUALLY DO THE SLIP-N-SLIDE WITHOUT FREEZING THEIR BUNS OFF!) to visit my brother.

I can't wait to be hot in in WDW!

I was there last week. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday was very comfortable. Highs in the mid 80s with low humidity. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday were hot. Highs in the mid 90s with higher humidity. I would expect it to be hot until the end of the summer or beginning of Fall. Highs in the 90s and lows in the 70s.
Enjoy your trip,
ADP

YES! HOT AND HUMID! We are here right now and even in the evening it is hot. Make sure you drink alot of water and take cover whenever possible. Thank godness we leave tomorrow I don't think I could take another day like the past 3 days! I must admit I will miss WDW but not the weather.

I just got back too, at yes...it was HOT on the 4th & 5th at least. Unusually so for this time of year, according to the local news. We hit the parks at openning and left at lunchtime, returning a few hours before closing. We found the crowds to be pretty light, especially in the morning and didn't even need to use early entry. The longest we waited for anything was 20 minutes (indy cars at MK) and most attractions were 0-10 minutes. It was great!

I just returned Wednesday and it was very hot! 90s and unseasonably warm.

I'm jealous!! It is still getting down in the upper 30s here at night and most days its only mid 50s...we still had snow flurries a few weeks ago!! Seems like summer will never get here!!...Can't wait to hit that heat!! 9 days to go!!
