Anyone who is going to DW soon, would you possibly do me a favor?

Actually, the favor is more for my DH than for me!

We were at DW in Dec 2002. My DH is an EMT and a firefighter, so the first stop when we get into MK is the firehouse to check out the latest patches they have hanging on the wall. This last time, we also dropped off some patches from his home stations. We went back nearly everyday (thank goodness we had the UPH or that would have been quite expensive) to see if they had them up on the wall yet. DH just wanted to see his patches displayed.

Unfortunately, they weren't able to get them up before we left.

A friend was there recently and commented that he saw them displayed. He took a picture for DH, but the picture didn't turn out.

So I was hoping that someone who will be there in the near future would take a picture for me. Either a digital one that you can email or a regular one that you could send in the mail.

This would mean so much to him! I would appreciate any or all help on this. Please let me know by either replying here or sending me a PM.

I didn't even know that. My DS is a volunteer fireman for 2 towns & a paid EMT for a 3rd. That would be so neat to take a patch to MK for them to display. Sure we will have a digital camera with us and my DH will have 35mm with us. We'll take a picture if you don't get one sooner. We're leaving 4/18. I'll have my laptop with us so I can probably e-mail picture to you from there.

Punky'smom - That would be great too! I'll send you a PM as well. And definitely tell DS to take some patches down. My DH was lucky enough to get one from the Reedy Creek Fire Station there as well (after he walked all the way there from MGM!) and he has that displayed nicely at home.

If you don't have a clue as to what I am talking about, the next time you are in the MK, stop in and take a look. The firehouse is in between Town Hall and the barn where they stable the horses for the trolley cars. They have giant frames on the walls displaying patches and logos from just about everywhere. It is really awesome to see!

And thanks to everyone for the help! Nice to see that the Disney magic and pixiedust extends to these boards as well!

Unfortunately that DS is just too busy to take a vacation. I thinks he's afraid to leave town. He might miss something. He just loves what he does. After all, he is Volunteer of the Year..

That is such an awesome idea - never even KNEW there was a firehouse at MK! See - there is so much in the world I'm clueless about!

DF is a volunteer FF for a local town here in CT...you really can just drop off a patch and they'll display it? I HAVE to tell him about that - besides loving the FF thing - he's a certified disney nut!
