Anyone who is at the DVC Boardwalk Villas right now....

I need someone to check up on a repair request that we made this past Monday. We check into room 5029 last Wed 5/3 and noticed on Thursday evening that the post on the right side of the balcony was missing the cap on the post. We reported in to Guest Services on Friday morning. I know that maintenance Sat because the curtains were moved and that the note I left them was gone, but, they did not replace the cap. We gave them a few days just incase they had to order the piece. Monday evening we stopped at the desk and asked again about it. They sent 2 maintenace people (2 young people a girl and a boy with their tool belts) up to our room at 10 pm. It was really like a clown act. :clown: They came in went out on the balcony and immediately looked over the balcony to see if the cap was on the ground. Now let me tell you. We are on the boardwalk side and the Big River Grill & Brewery was under us, It was too funny! :rotfl2: We told them it was missing when we checked in, Did they think it would still be on the ground for a week without the Brewery crew not noticing it, I think NOT! Then they left and went down to the Brewery to look around they asked one of the workers and pointed up at me. He told them to go check with the manager. Well no luck there. Well we checked out Wed 5/10 and it was still not fixed. I am hoping someone can check to see if it was replaced since then. You can see it from the Boardwalk. It is on the 5th floor. If facing the building with the lake behind you it would be the last room on the right (yellow section) past the poles just before the red section over the Big River Grill. It would be the cap on the left side of the balcony. Please let me know because I would like to follow up on it with DVC Member Services. Thank YOU for your help.
