Anyone wear your magic band on a lanyard or other non-wrist method?

Oh my those are bulky! I wish they offered a dog tag style option instead of just the bracelet. You'd think that would be cheaper to make too. I put them on a carbeener clip and clipped them inside my backpack - my backpack as a key ring thingy on the inside. I was a little paranoid that we would lose them.

The antennas need to go somewhere, so they go in the band itself (although not all of the way around). Some years ago, people were pulling the RFID chips and antennas out of oyster cards and installing them in their watch bands so they could pay for tube rides by just scanning their wrist, but the local constabulary took exception to this so the practice was mostly curbed.

I wear a watch or wearable technology every day, so I don't see any major issues with me wearing my band, but when I've had insect bites on my wrist I would just pocket it or carabineer my watch to a belt loop for half a day or so.
