This whole show is a train wreck.

It's weird seeing Matt Gallant working on a show that doesn't involve funny animal videos.

I've been watching it on and off. It's kind of making me sad.. I think I want to change the channel, but I just can't avert my eyes! Yeah, like a car/train wreck, definately.

Of course, I missed part of the first 20 minutes or so panicking, searching for my 4 year old. He and the 7 year old thought it'd be funny to play a trick on Mom. 7yo comes in looking distraught, saying "Mom I can't find my brother. He went outside." I got outside and call him for several minutes, look all around the yard, in the garage, under and in all the cars, at the neighbor's house - still can't find him. At this point I'm panic-stricken and about to call my husband to leave work and come help me figure out what the hell happened (I mean, I was on the phone for 5 minutes and he disappears?).

Turns out... DS#2 had torn a hole in the lining of the couch and crawled down below the cushions into the springs and was hiding.. and DS #1 knew about it the whole time! I'm so mad at them I can't see straight. Needless to say, two little somebodies are in BIG trouble!!!!

What about the woman and her inflatable "tizzy, time out" cages? The judges really hated the whole idea and thought she was evil.

I couldn't believe they accepted the 18 year old with the acne problem. A Bicycle built for two. How original.

I thought this show was funny, but also a little bit sad. So many of these people were so excited about their ideas and it was sad to see their dreams crushed...

I have a question - do all these "inventors" already have patents? If not then I'm wondering if people will steal their ideas that they are watching on TV. As the show goes on, won't we find out more information about each invention? I'm just hoping people don't steal these ideas.

Also, can someone explain more about the "Dolly Parton" lady's invention? Is it just something that you display and then eat? Would you make that for a party or what? I really didn't understand why I would buy one of those. But they were cute!

Did anyone else laugh at all the toilet inventions??

Picture a garment suit bag that you slip over your body. There is a "sack" that collects your urine. When you're done, you fold up the bag and put it away. He also has a "sack" for women, too! hahaha...

Most of the inventions shown were ridiculous! That guy with the beetle farm was crazy and he takes the cake!

However, I liked the idea of the shovel/sandbag tool. The Inventor could have done without the rapping presentation but the idea was good.

Too bad for the 14 year old boy. I thought he had something there with his car cooling fan. I have a feeling we'll be hearing from this kid in the future.

The Dolly lady had a kit to make edible snowglobes. They were a craft project. I love crafts so I'd buy it in a second. The great part was that everything was included.

The one invention that got me was the lady who did the dvd about character. I was sooo on her side but agreed that the project was just so DONE. It didn't look to me like she needed help, just advertising. I think last night's show did that for her.
