Anyone watch Monster House

This has quickly become my new favorite show. It is way better than Trading Places (in my opinion). DH and I love watching this show (Monday night, 8:00, Disovery Channel).

Last night's episode was great, I have never seen a team work together as well as this group did! It's just amazing to watch a rather blah looking house go from blah, to a crazy construction zone, to the finished product in a week! I might not want that type of look in my house (it's a little over the top most of the time) but they do a great job!

DH, DD and I love Monster House. I'm not sure I could let them take over my house (kind of like planning that Disney trip-have to have control). It is really a fun show to watch.

Last nights monster house was beautiful. I'm not into Zen or Asian style but I loved it. Especially the back yard. I just love Koi fish and dream of a Koi pond like that.

I love Monster House but usually forget to watch it. DH got me hooked on American Chopper. That's better than any reality show...they argue like crazy on EVERY episode. Man, you gotta love it

My DS just got us hooked on this the past 2 days...there was a marathon last night ....It was great...and they don't get a crazy low budget like the other decorating shows....these people got some serious bonus gifts.....plasma tvs, hot tubs, etc.

My boyfriend and I are just waiting for Monster House to start doing houses outside of California -- we want to be first on the list!!

I can't even imagine what they'd do for two crazy football fans, but I bet it'd be cool!

Also, Steve Watson is even more attractive than Monster Garage's Jesse James. I didn't think that was possible, but apparently it is!

OMG, I love the 3 shows mentioned...MH, MG and AC...

As far as Monster House goes....I am always amazed at the permanent changes they make to these homes!!! I don't think I could do it, but it is fun to watch!

We just watched the Polynesian/tropical home remodel last night (taped it from Monday). I'd seen it before but DH hadn't. They were a great team too.

I'm just amazed at what they can pull off in a week. The construction crew is such a mix of personalities/characters, but they all seem (or most, I should say) to have a great work ethic. They put alot of pride into making sure their projects are done and done right. Trading Spaces is a fun show to watch, but this one just seems to really take it to the edge. They do wild things that people can still live with (not like straw stuck to the wall...)

My sister was saying that the people who own the houses are crazy to have such extreme measures taken to remodel because they will never be able to sell the house, but I think that the house will have more appeal since it's been featured on TV.

I'm hooked too! I have to agree I think some of the people are CRAZY! (read Tiki man fireplace!) if they are ever going to sell their homes but the last house (Zen) was amazing!!!
I even liked the Castle one...it was cool but the people working on it....Yikes! (the guy who stands on the table and breaks it!lol)

I LOVE Monster House! The Zen house was beautiful and the Tiki house was so cool! I wasn't really thrilled with the car house tho. (Really not my style, I guess - but somebody's!) My BF loved the movie theater house . Could you imagine doing something like that to your house??? YIKES!!

It is a MUCH better show than Trading Spaces - I cannot stand that show anymore - all they do it try to out-do each other, and the homeowner's suffer. I'll only watch if it is Frank and Genevive - the others are just obnoxious.

I feel the same way! Changing Rooms on BBC America is still a great show, but Trading Spaces just seems to have gotten a little too something...just not "real" anymore!

My 15 yr old son got us hooked . He used to sing the song all the time but I had no idea what it was
Now we are all hooked and we Tivo it all the time so we dont miss it . Did anyone see the Movie theater house ? That was great !
