Anyone watch Larry King last night? Who was that irritating blonde woman?

I don't think the appearance on Larry King hurt her because no one actually watches it. He has the lowest ratings of the cable tv news shows, barely drawing 450,000 viewers. Hannity has him beat by a mile.

Doesn't matter if his ratings are low. EVERYONE saw that clip and if they haven't they will thanks to the internet. What a ditz she was.

That is bunk...she claims her mediation agreement stresses confidentiality. It would with the terms of the agreement, not as to the state of mind of the parties involved. Larry King brought up this exact concept and she got all freaky because she didn't want to talk about the "sex tape" -- probably because it came out earlier that it wasn't one sex tape, more like 15-20 and she didn't make them when she was a teenager as she claimed, she was in her 20s. And if you watch the interview, she started calling King inappropriate BEFORE he ever took a phone call. If she says she is upset because she they weren't to have phone calls, then that is yet another lie to come out of her mouth.

Its not bunk if it was agreed that there wouldn't be any questions about the settlement. Asking her why she settled, falls under questioning the settlement. I'm sure LK knew that.

Regardless of what Larry King should or shouldn't have asked, she has behaved like a brat on every program I've seen her on. It's like the world has revolved around her for so long and now that it's not, she's pitching a fit.

On the Today Show, she went on and on about how her free speech rights were being infringed. Say what? Umm, you're SPEAKING on a national news program ... to promote your book ... which you wrote because you SPOKE on a nationally televised pageant. Having the right to free speech doesn't mean everyone's going to like what you say .....

And Larry King has been doing this since long before this girl was born -- he didn't/wouldn't make such an agreement. Do you really think he would have had a career for this long if he allowed guests to dictate what they wanted to be asked? If she truly had a legal problem with what to answer, she would have had her legal counsel to explain what she was under a legal onbligation to and not to say.

Plus, she already has been on TV talking about the sex tape (when it was thought to be one) That's where she said it happened when she was a teenager. She then called the guy she sent it to and asked him to lie and say she was 17 when she made it. He told her he would not basically admit to something illegal just to keep her story going.

Could not have said it better myself. Oh and also, she was supposed to appear at another event and in Prejean style...an hour before, she cancelled. Her views are her views and I respect them BUT she is the biggest pain in the you know what. Her true colors are now showing and SHE chose to go on ALL these TV shows to promote her book and now more lies are coming out about her and she can't handle it because she knows she lied. So she is going to be a miss priss like everyone said she was.

I don't believe anyone has said otherwise, but if we are going to talk about behaving like a brat then we sholdn't ignore LK's behavior as well. I'm not defending Prejean, like I said she should have conducted herself better, but I also would expect LK to as well. (if there was in fact an agreement beforehand).

Let us remember the immortal words of Oscar Wilde:

“It is better to be talked about than not talked about”.

Especially if you are hawking a book

I'm not defending LK. I don't know enough about what he promised or didn't promise.

But all she had to say was, "I have been advised that I am not to discuss anything regarding the settlement because it's confidential." Now, I know the position of several media personalities is - we're asking about the motive for the settlement, not the terms of the settlement. To which, her response should be, "I'm not a lawyer, but I've consulted with my lawyers. They've advised me not to discuss the settlement in any way. I'm not going to discuss it."

Problem is, she's not really good at thinking on the fly. That's why she gets bratty. On the View, they were trying to be sympathetic/on her side at times, but she seemed too dense to "get it".

If she had only behaved badly on Larry King, I'd blame him. She's behaved badly on every show I've seen her on. For that reason, I'm inclined to think she's just bratty by nature.

If you can't conduct yourself better in the national media, don't seek out promotion in the national media.

Per the Today Show this morning, her ex bf is now saying she was 20, not 17 in her solo sex tapes, and that she asked him to lie. The more she hawks herself, the more this stuff comes out.

We weren't talking about her a week ago. She needs to lay low (which I understand she's doing now). She's her own worst enemy.

Doesn't EVERYBODY have a sex tape somewhere in their past? I almost feel left out...:rotfl:

See that's your problem DVCLiz, you're probably one of those wierd people who actually believe sex should be kept private. :rotfl:

Just another "holier than thou" psuedo celebrity caught with their pants down. Literally

I truly don't see what one thing has to do with another. She said she didn't believe in gay marriage and she has been trashed in the media ever since. I don't know why they keep talking about her- who cares about her sex tapes? I really don't care what she does.

This is why, more and more...

i would rather get my "News" from the Daily show and the Colbert report..

at least they say what most of us are thinking!!!

:happytv:

I don't watch Larry King but I saw a snippet on Stephen Colbert's show. She strikes me as such a brat. I keep expecting to hear that she's stomping her foot when she's acting out.

Beauty pageants are not unlike political campaigns. You have to walk the walk and talk the talk. They are heavily coached and like political candidates try to appeal to as many voters/judges as possible. I'm sure she was coached on middle-of-the-road answers to questions. She chose to go rogue and it backfired.

I think the poor girl is making herself look worse and worse the longer she keeps up this appearance tour. To paraphrase, it's better if people think you might be a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

I was probably more disturbed by Perez Hilton's reaction, on his blogs, after he asked her that question, and she answered it. C'mon, calling her the b-word, among other nasty names...was just wrong on his part. Resorting to name-calling is immature and unintelligent.

Really? You were expecting maturity from someone who makes their living by drawing male genitalia (among other things) over various celebrities' faces?

Wasn't her sex tape a solo act... Chelsea lately had a few laughs how she couldn't get anyone else to star in it with her.
