Anyone want to swap WDW Marathon and half marathon entries?

Hi all!

was wondering if anyone could help me out and i can help in return.

here's the situation: i am registered for the 2013 Walt Disney World marathon. due to injury, i might not be able to complete the full marathon, so i would like to transfer to the half marathon.

I have been in contact with runDisney, and they tell me that unfortunately, since the Half is sold out, they cannot accomodate me.

The full is sold out too, but I'm hoping if someone is in a situation where they are registered for the half but want to so the full, we can swap.

I would contact Run Disney, if you haven't already, to see about transfering between races. I know they charge a $25 fee to do the change and even though they are officially sold out they may be able to lend you a hand.

They don't usually allow you to switch with someone who is already registered. I would keep checking with runDisney and perhaps drill a bit more to ask when they are releasing the charity entries. They did release some Disneyland entries all of a sudden and allowed people at the Expo to sign up (at the Princess Expo), so there is a possibility that they may do that as well. Can't hurt to try all the avenues until they finally allow you to switch! Hope it all works out!

Sorry that you can't run the full. Agree with previous posters. Keep bugging runDisney until you get the right person.
