Anyone want to keep track of how much they save towards their Disney vacation?????

My sister and I are doing a sisters and kids take Disney trip at the end of January. The airfare is paid for, my room & dining plan are paid for. Now we are working on spending $$ and tips. I've been buying $25.00/ week of Disney gift cards through my son's SCRIP program at school- $300.00 so far, and my son is saving change and has $72.00.

I am anticipating using my room key to charge to my room, and using the gift cards to pay off the balance. I am not sure how many more gift cards I should get...maybe I should just take the $25.00 and set it aside in my "trip box", so I don't have all of my $$ tied up in gift cards...:confused3

I have to crack down and really start pinching my pennies... I will suggest Disney Dollars for the kids for Christmas gifts, start slipping coupons to save on groceries and pick up on-sale clothings items and such during the winter. I will also pick up $25-50+ Disney cards here and there as I have extra money. The rest will be paid for my our tax return... :teacher:

All my ADRs are done, so I just have to keep my eye out for deals, offers and upgrades when they come out! IF they come out.... :surfweb:

We started Craigslisting in September and have made $245 so far - mostly little stuff but boy is it a good feeling! I love it that I'm decluttering and making money at the same time.

Dh has also made $115 doing odd jobs for my parents

Goal is to pay for a chunk of our new APs with the CL money.
