Anyone want to join me in losing weight with WiiFit? Join the fun!

I'm in! Picked mine up yesterday morning. I love the Hula Hoop and the Run/Jog.
My Wii age is 59, and I'm only 37!! :blush: :eek:
 
I was surprised at how difficult some of the strength training moves were. That push-up to plank move just about killed me!! The soccer one had me laughing my butt off - no way was I expecting a panda to come flying at me! :rotfl:
 
I just did a total of 45 minutes. Tried the running, hoola hoop, some yoga and strength training. It told me a was obese (ouch) and my 46 yr old person is more like a 60 yr old. Double Ouch!! It was fun and I can see myself enjoying it. Good Luck to everyone!!
 

I have mine and have set up my profile. OK, I am OBESE....and I just loved how my mii blew up like a ballon after I weighed in. LOL. I thought she was going to burst.

My DS12 is playing it right now. He is enjoying it. I am going to use it for the 1st time when the kids are in school. I don't need them laughing at me.

OK, so what did everyone put in for their two week goal? I put that I want to lose 5 pounds in 2 weeks. The Wii said it should be 3, but I ignored it's advice.

I think we should check in here very two weeks to match with the WiiFit timing. What do you think?

My 1st 2 weeks goal....5 pounds.

Maybe we can keep track of "high scores" in some of the games like hula hoop and such...

I'm sure we can get a clipart too like the BIggest Loser groups do..like afittest of the fit or something lol
 
We set it up last night. What fun!

I am 48 and my Wii Fit Age is 55. Oh, well.

My goal is to lose 3 pounds in 2 weeks.

I'd say thats pretty good, only 8 years isn't too bad but you want it to be at or younger than you really are.

There is way too many years between my fit age and real age, I ahve a lot of ground to make up.:yay:
 
We also set ours up last night. I am obese too - my poor mii is huge! I am right on the border of obese/overweight so my goal is to lose 5lbs so I can be overweight!

I am 42 and my wii fit age was 42 despite the fact I need to lose 40 lbs. I am doing the So Beach Diet (prescribed by my Dr.) I am hoping the wii will help aid my weight lose. I set up a 6 month goal of losing 25 lbs.

The rest of my family are all normal - with lovely looking miis. My DH is 6 years younger then his age. (Did I mention that I hate them!) My DS (age 9) and I enjoyed the "2 person -race." I also liked the hula hooping. I was terrible at the ski jump, but liked the slalom. I also really loved the yoga. It has been ages since I have done it and I thought the way the balance board charted you was amazing.

Does anyone know if you can use it with two balance boards? I am worried about getting enough mii time on it - with my family.
 
I love the advanced step. I may try out free step tomorrow. I also like to do teh jog. My only complaint is I give myself 30 minutes to work out, but my actual workout time is 15 minutes because of all the menu changes. Okay, one more complaint, I hate when I am doing the step and if I mis-step it stops to give advice. I wish it would just keep going. Want to get my heart rate going.

But I love it!

I somehow gained a pound which is odd. I am on a 1200 cal. diet. I did have a piece of birthday cake, but I skipped my scheduled snack. I doubt the cake was THAT much to make me gain a pound.
 
1200 calories + exercise may be too low for you. If you are consuming 1200 calories and burning 200 you are really living off of 1000 calories a day. That's really low when you consider the average, moderately active person requires 2000 calories to to maintain their current weight (1800 if you are 50+). Sometimes not eating enough will cause us to gain as well - maybe try adding in some healthy snacks (fruit, veg) on days you exercise? Good luck!!

After hula hooping and jogging for 3 days, I can barely move. My right hip is completely locked up. LOL

Who would of thunk a video game could do this to a person?
 
My well hidden abs:rotfl2: are a tad bit sore today too. I guess that is a good sign. Let's keep at it!!
 
I need to get on mine and do some more today but my weight is down since i started 3 days ago..just over 1 lb, but a loss is a loss:)
 
Me, Me, me!!! I tried thee couch to 5K thing and that was a little ambitious for me (I guess I"m more of a couch potato than I thought!). Wii Fit is more my speed. I have logged about 35 minutes on mine since it got here and it claims that I have already lost 2 lbs. I think I just made a good choice and didn't eat right before I got on it the second day! I love my Wii Fit and I can't wait to workout along with you guys!
 
I got mine! I did my daily fit test today, but I'm having trouble with it not giving me a very accurate weight. I guess that's okay since I'm also doing Weight Watchers and I really care what's on that scale.

I love the ski jump and the yoga poses. I've been trying to come up with a good workout to do. I was thinking warming up with yoga, then aerobics, strength, balance and then cool down with yoga.

Well WiiFit has impressed the whole family. Today, we went to the driving range with the kids. We decided to practice on the putting green, and DS8 was entertaining himself by doing the yoga poses he learned.:lmao: :lmao:

Some of the adults around were pretty impressed. :)
 
I unlocked advanced boxing. WOW! I am so uncoordinated. I can't get the correct foot. He's yelling right for my hands but I'm supposed to have my left foot back. So confusing. LOL! I will get it someday. It took me 3 tries to get the 3 min. boxing down. The 6 minute one will probably take 10 tries before he stops saying I didn't break a sweat. I was sweating. lol.
