Anyone want to guess - FOP FP?

I know it's just a guess, but we just moved up our summer trip to March, starting about 40 days from today, and of course there are no FOP FPs to be had. I have already spent hours mindlessly refreshing on my phone and nada. What do you think the chances are that I can get 4? And is it foolish to try refreshing now - should I wait until the night before/day of to try refreshing?

Any chance you get to check, do it, because you never know when someone will change their schedule. We'll be at WDW in 29 days and we just switched some stuff around the other day.

Don't give up. Just keep trying sometimes one will pop up especially when it gets closer to the time you leave. Some people will start changing their plans and drop a FOP. Also last year they extended the hours about 2 weeks before our trip and a bunch of FP for FOP were available.

I would just wait but there's no harm in checking whenever you want. As you get closer there is a greater chance of movement in FP's especially night before.

You could always just wait until close to closing time to find the shortest waits of the day. There have been several recent reports of 20 minute srandby times.

Just keep in mind that the posted waits are intentionally exaggerated at night to discourage late riders.

We’ve often found the posted waits to be up to 4x the actual wait time at night. Just be sure to get in line before the park closes. They do close the gate right at closing time.

I would keep trying whenever you have a minute. Also, I would purposely do a lot of refreshing around 32 days up to about 29 days out as payments are due and some FP's may open up for those who had to cancel trips.

I wouldn't necessarily spend mindless hours looking now, but I certainly would look a couple of times a day when time allowed. Don't overlook the possibility of booking 2 sets of 2 FP with times that overlap, so say you don't see any sets of 4, maybe you can book a set of 2 for 2:00 - 3:00, and then find another set of 2 that are good from 2:30 - 3:30, then you could all ride together between 2:30 and 3:00.

Finally, even day of, when you are in the park, don't give up. I would refresh looking for FP as much as possible day of. Even in August, we were able to score day of FP for FOP more than once.

I would check periodically but not spend time endlessly refreshing until the day before or day of. The refreshing strategy works when lots of people are changing their plans which generally isn't until the day before or day of. I was able to get multiple FOP FP's the day before and day of during spring break. Also pay attention to if and when they change the park hours. If they open an hour earlier it opens up FP's and people change their plans around so you can easily score FP's the day that happens if you can catch it.

Watch for a change in park hours near mid-February, and if AK's hours are extended, start looking for FP then. Sometimes they open up fast, sometimes it is a day or two, but keep looking. I was able to get 7DMT and FoP this way for our trip last June (we stayed offsite) on two different days each.

I've been refreshing several times a day for the past four weeks (we leave for Disney tonight). There are just two of us. I've had no luck with FOP but I did get 7DMT, first at 5 pm then was able to move it to 4 pm then to 9:20 am. I was also unable to get FOP for our last trip at the end of November. There were 7 of us and I split us in groups of 2,2,2 and 1 with no luck. I was able to get 7DMT for all of us although not all at the same time (that was super stressful). We went to FOP at about 7:35 pm to ride standby. I can't recall what the posted wait time was, but we only waited about 20-25 minutes to ride. I would definitely recommend this strategy!

I couldn't get a slinky fp for 3 people at 60 day window mark (for march) 1-2 weeks later I checked and found some, so this does happen. I have been trying to get them earlier tho and have had no luck. We literally grabbed the only ones and none have been available since! Keep trying!

Keep checking including the day you are at the park. People cancel or change their mind. they do become available.
Or as suggested, do RD or the end of the day.

We booked a trip 8 days out last April. Kept refreshing and nada until around 4pm the day of when we snagged FoP as a (5th? 6th?) FP. It was quite comical as we were in Pizzafari eating and I literally jumped out of my chair and yelled "I GOT IT!!!" So, anything is possible. We were planning on going at park closing had we not gotten it.

I just got some today for FOP at 30 days out. I think with full payment being due maybe some were dropped from nonpayment etc. I’ve been randomly checking everyday and just happened to wake up at 5 am this morning and there they were.

It looks like they just extended hours for March so watch for them to add more FOP FPs duringvthe added hours. Good luck!
