:guilty: I'm sad now. I booked OW tickets on SW hoping to get a decent rate on the return and it doesn't look like it's going to happen. Well, I'm checking Delta and I can get a RT ticket for $210 this is a great price especially for 5 people. The OW back on Delta is $152!!! My love for SW has gotten the best of me! :sad2:

let me see if i got this right you bought 5 one way SW tickets and per your heading you paid 102 for each= 510 so adding the OW delta of 152 the rt cost is 252. times that by 5 and it is 1260. so you bought five rt delta tix for 210 each which = 1050

I think I wouldve just stayed with the original OW plan because you run the risk of losing 510 vs 250. :confused3 :confused3 if you havent bought the delta tickets i dont think I would

Good luck

allonte: What is your travel city and dates?

And what does OW mean?

We're flying from BNA (Nashville) to MCO, June 21-25. OW means One Way and RT means Round Trip.

I didn't buy the RT tickets on Delta because I can't get the money back from SW. I sure wish I hadn't bought the OW tickets on SW at all now.

Sunday's leaving MCO are always tough ones, but I wouldn't give up hope yet! I would watch the DINGS and SW like a hawk............BUT It wouldn't hurt to just go pay the higher price really. SW is $152.80 each, as is Delta. With SW as you know, you can get a credit if they lower it. I seriously would go pay that and do it now. We went last summer, same dates as you and we bought our air in February....regular fare and it NEVER went down, even on DINGS! The flight down did go down $13 each, but never our return flight.

Thank you! I will keep watching it. Especially since I can't get my money back! I'm just trying to keep this trip as cheap (but fun) as possible. Since we are leaving during the week, I hope I can get the flight down for cheaper than I did via Ding or their weekly sales and then just apply the extra credit to the return flight. It just kills me that I jumped on the SW OW fare and then a month later find a better deal on Delta.

You have time, just keep watching DAILY! Good Luck and I will send you a PM if I see anything. I check SW a few times each day and have a running list of what I have to check for.

Dings have been really bad lately maybe it's just me but all I keep getting is Tues.-Thurs Wedns- Fri .
No more Sat Sun or MON at all and it's been like that for over a month now.

DINGS change all the time. Right now they are showing through the Spring Break time, so they are going to be more limited. Most weekend flights are sold out at regular price, so they don't need to offer discounts. Today's DING is showing through May 31st though, so they have extended a bit.
