I don't know if anyone is interested but I thought I's share this recipe. Isn't it funny how sometimes you can go through a long, hard, cooking process for some things and then the easiest recipes are the ones people rave about? These mushrooms are great as a side or even an appetizer. Talk about easy. I brought them to Christmas dinner at my in laws and they disappeared. I had requests for them at Easter so I made double what I had before and they still disappeared!

Broiled Ranch Mushrooms

1 pound
Medium mushrooms, cleaned

1/4 cup
Vegetable oil

1/4 cup
Water

1 tablespoon
Balsamic vinegar

1 packet/1 oz.
Hidden Valley® The Original Ranch® Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix

Place mushrooms in a gallon size Glad® food storage bag. Whisk together oil, water, vinegar and seasoning & salad dressing mix until dissolved. Pour over mushrooms; seal bag and marinate in refrigerator for 30 minutes, turning occasionally. Place mushrooms on broiling rack. Broil 4 inches from heat for about 8 minutes or until tender.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.

My goodness! Those sound soooo yummy! I've got to look for mushrooms at the store this weekend, as that sounds like a great Saturday afternoon appetizer. My broiler is broken on my oven though.

I love mushrooms but am not a fan of ranch flavor. I'm going to try this with italian seasoning.

Don't worry Maxine, my broiler is broken too. I just baked them until they looked cooked and they were still wonderful. Also, I forgot to mention I added a couple of dollops of butter on the top before they cooked.

Thanks! Bought some mushrooms today just to try this recipe. Sounds great.

I bought some so I could snack on them dipped in lite ranch dressing so this is a much try.........thanks

Just about to go to the grocery store, so I will definitely pick up the ingredients. Thanks!
