Take a look at Airtran! If you fly out on certain days (I think Mon. Tues. and a couple other days). Their flights are listing at 57 or 59$ one way - about 135-145$ total. Great rates and plenty of schedules to choose from. Hope this helps someone.

WOW-Thanks hulagirl! I actually responded to this post before checking some tix prices there and was astounded! DH & I looked at the prices for 3 tics from Roch to MCO 7/16-7/20 and decided to make a trip in July in like 10 seconds tops!

We got three r/t tix from ROC to MCO for $435.00. Plus I saw that my price went down on my May trip so I called their customer service and got the difference applied to those new tixs-yeah!

Unbelieveable--I can't believe we are going to WDW 3Xs in 1 year-thank goodness for APs!!!!
:)

Thanks again hulagirl for the heads up!!!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Wow, I love an airfare sale. Even though this isn't my area, when sales start, others follow. Now with the war winding down and the terrorism threat dropped from Orange to Yellow today, hopefully things will start looking up for the tourism business and the economy--Of course we still have SARs, but they are working on it.

Karen,
You are so welcome - glad it worked for you!:D Have another! great trip!!

I didn't even know Rochester had an airport, and have been held hostage to Syracuse/Hancock's high fares - until now! Thanks!!

I haven't had very good luck finding a good fare out of Syracuse or Rochester on Jet Blue and their schedule out of Syracuse is terrible. It's a shame because I've really been wanting to try them. Someone posted over on the Budget Forum that USAir has some great rates right now too. I checked for our dates out of Rochester and they are running around 153.00rt (Including taxes and fees). I still prefer Airtran though because they have a non-stop flight to mco.

Thanks again, hulagirl-you have made my day, week and even month!!:)

I hope this will signal the start of some really good rates and that lots of you will be able to find some excellent fares for the summer and fall too.

MickeyMonstersMom-yep! We certainly do have one, I can hear a jet overhead as I type as I live about 2 miles from it-lol! Go Orangemen!!!!! Check out the fares out of here (ROC is the airport code) and you might find some good deals. Plus there is always SWA out of BUF.

jlp651-I never have good luck with JetBlue fares but we did fly with them a couple of years ago after being "bumped" from a USAIR flight and found the service to be pretty good. I know that *sometimes* the fares out of BUF are better than the ones out of ROC but not that good in comparison to SWA or AirTran.

HTH!

Karen,
I'm jealous! 2 miles from ROC - how great!!!! You should have great luck just about anytime you want to fly to Orlando. I have family in Los Angeles and they have really great sales to CA too. Make sure you sign up for Airtran's frequent flyer program. If you get their Visa it's a pretty decent deal, especially since you live right there.
