I am getting ready to repaint my kitchen & like the idea of the "goes on pink, dries white" ceiling paint. So please share any experience you have with it.
Does it goe on as easily as regular ceiling paint?
Does it really dry completely white?

yes yes yes yes yes.

and it covers well too.

we've used it on several jobs now and like it, much easier to see if you miss a spot, and to tell where you need to go, but, it does change color quickly.

Love it, and it's the only one I'll use because it makes me crazy if I can't really tell that it's covered completely.

OH,,, that paint was wonderful!! 'Cept mine went on rather lavendar then turned white. I used it not only for the ceiling but also to paint the inside of
a closet. And, that's when the the really good part came ... DH came in.. looked around..said.."How come you're painting the ceiling lavendar?" I said, "It's going to turn white." He didn't look too sure about it.
A while later he came in to see how it looked... and said, "does it go on smooth?" I said, "Try it.." He finished painting the ceiling..and the closet. :cool1:

I'll have to remember that. I am sure that my DH will be skeptical when he sees a pink ceiling in the kitchen. Maybe I should set up the camcorder to catch his reaction.:rotfl2:

My only comment is that the first coat that I put on our ceiling turned white almost instantly. That's because the textured ceiling had never been painted and it just sucked up the paint as fast as I could apply it. The second code stayed pink long enough for me to tell where I had and had not painted. And it does dry completely white. It made the job a whole lot easier.

Great stuff. I was very happy with it.

I'm convinced. I will pick some up tomorrow.
Thank you all for you input.

yep - i actually just painted our ceiling with it yesterday!
