Has anyone ever used these? If so what kind of experience did they have? Just looking to get a nice dinner in once alone with DH! :lovestruc

We have used Camp Lil Rock at The Hard Rock Twice for our five year old. She loved it. Only only complaint is that it is more expensive than Disney or The Dolphin Hotel. If I remember right it's $2.00 an hour more, plus they round up the time and charge you for the meal. Also depending on the day of week/time of year, not every kids club will be open each night, you may have to use one at another hotel. Last time we used Camp Lil Rock, we were staying at PB, but their kids club was closed.

My sister used the service at RPR for her daughter. My niece loved it there. She was having so much fun when we went to pick her up that she didn't want to leave. The next day she asked if she could go back. :)

i too used the one at RPR. i believe a few years ago it was $10 an hour. i only left my nephew there for 2-3 hours. i had taken him and his sister on vacation and he was too little for the roller coasters so we dropped him off for a few hours of roller coaster heaven. when we picked him up, he didn't want to leave. he had so much fun and asked if he could go there everyday instead of the parks :confused3 . what is wrong with this kid. they have different corners there like a game corner with board games, arts and craft center, movie corner and so much more. he made me all kinds of crafts that we hung up in the room. the thing that impressed me most was that the day i chose to put him there, there unfortunately weren't any other kids scheduled to be there that early. i wasn't sure what i was going to do but RPR to the rescue. the person running the kids club that night brought her son to work with her when she noticed my nephew would be alone. they had so much fun together and i was so appreciative.

Seriously? No one has ever used them? Guess we better steer clear!

Sorry, I wasn't watching this board for a few days. We had a great experience with our babysitter. The hotels have a list of several childcare companies to choose from. We let them choose one for us, and were very happy with our sitter. And now I can't find her card so you can request her specifically! She was a young grandma who adored kids and really understood how they think. She came early to get acquainted with the kids, asked a lot of detailed questions about their likes, dislikes, foods, drinks, allergies, movies they were allowed to watch, activities, schedule, and a bunch of other relevant things that I probably would have forgotten to mention. She was fun for us to talk to, too. She also works frequently at the Disney resorts.

When we came back, the kids were tired, happy, fed, and in their pajamas. If I find her business card, I'll post her name so you can request her. We've used childcare services at Disney on three occasions (the Dis/US resorts all call the same services), and she's the best we've had. We really, really, really liked her. If I can't find her card, don't worry. We've really liked all of the other sitters we've had in Orlando, too. Very professional and conscientious.
