Anyone use the Paulas Choice Skincare products?

I am 39 yrs old and still have moderate acne. I was looking at trying the Paulas choice skincare line. Has anyone ever used any of it? She has several different lines. Problem is when I have used true acne products in the past they are too harsh and drying plus with my age I need some anti aging products too. Anyone have any recommendations on her products or any others that would be helpful.

I use and love her products. That being said, I'm 40 and have some breakouts. What worked for me was retin-a. It works for acne and has anti-aging properties. Unfortunately, my insurance doesn't cover it and it is not cheap.

What products do you use? I have tried the retin a but it dries my skin out too much.

I've been using Paula's Choice for approx. 3 years. Like the OP, I too have been blessed with acne as an adult. I found that PC really did help me out. Her Clear line of products are designed for acne-prone skin.
I live in an area that has extreme weather variations, so I find it better for me to switch products from season to season. During spring and summer I use a mix of her Skin Balancing Line with one or two products from the Clear line--I am about to switch back to her Skin Balancing Toner over fall and winter (which can be really cold and dry here) and her 2% Beta Hydroxy Acid Gel.
Beta hydroxy acid is absolutely the ticket to a clearer skin.

I ordered some samples today. So when do you put on the beta hydr gel? At night before bed or in the mornings?

Did you try renova? I use that every other day and it doesn't dry me out.

I use pc beta hydroxy gel every morning. In the winter, I use the alpha hydroxy instead. I use her spot treatment when I have a breakout. If it is really bad breakout I use the carbon mask

I have been using PC products for over 5 years and have been very happy with the line of skin care. The makeup on the other hand is nothing special IMO. I originally found it through a site called MakeupAlley where like every makeup and skin care product is reviewed by members. Very handy place to look as many reviewers also describe their skin type so you get a better idea of something might work for you.

I am 38, have normal to dry sensitive skin. I use her skin balancing cleanser, the 2% bha lotion and the skin balancing daily mattifying lotion with spf 15. In the winter I usually change to a heavier moisturizer. I use all 3 products in the morning.

While I do not break out a lot I used to have many more blackheads but the bha really made a huge difference. When I first found her site I spent a lot of time reading it. She gives a lot of good recommendations on the how and whys of each product and who should or should not use something.

I use the BHA 2% gel in the mornings, after using her Skin Balancing Cleanser and her Skin Balancing Toner, and before using the PC Skin Balancing Skin Mattifying Lotion with SPF 15 or a PC liquid makeup with SPF 15. If I am getting an acne flare-up, I also use her Clear Acne Fighting Treatment 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide after the toner, and before/instead of the BHA gel. You do have to wait for both the benzoyl peroxide and the BHA gel to dry before you apply anything else, or the products will "pill" on your face. At night, you can use the same routine, but substituting a moisturizer for the SPF product.
