Anyone Use Ron Rosenzweig?

I'm trying to pick out an officiant for my escape wedding and was wondering if anyone has used him and what they thought about him.

Also, he has a rehearsal listed in his email response about the pricing... I thought escape weddings didn't get rehearsals.

Yes, we used him! We chose him because we did not want a religious ceremony (DH is Jewish and I'm Christian but neither of us is religious). We were very pleased! Our guests were very impressed as well and a number of them specifically mentioned to us at the reception how much they enjoyed him. He was very professional in responding to e-mails, questions, and showed up more than an hour before the ceremony (I was getting geared up to panic that he would be late!) I would definitely recommend!

We are using him in August. He didn't quote anything about a rehersal in our pricing (we are having an intimate/escape wedding as well). I think the cost came out to $175 with a $75 retainer.

WE ARE! I cannot tell you much about him though since we haven't officially met him yet. All of our communication has been via email - he has always responded promptly. He has been really nice to work with so far, very willing to adapt to what you have in mind (he allowed us to make changes to his ceremony and made suggestions of other options for different things). We did have one issue with him being busy with two weddings and a rehearsal the day before our wedding but he was pretty flexible about trying to fit our rehearsal in still. I will make sure to let you know how everything goes with him, our wedding is in a couple weeks!

Random information (not that it matters) but I did notice a couple weeks ago when I was watching the old DFTW special on Food Network (?) that he was the officiant they showed performing the ceremony at Sunset Point at the Polynesian. I thought it was nice to know that Disney respects him enough to show him in one of their specials.

Yeah we used Ron in April this year he was great everything we wanted. likewise we didn't want a religious ceremony and we even re wrote part of our vows and he was fine with this. All of our guests commented how nice he was and how well he conducted the ceremony. He was even winding DFH saying I had changed my mind and was walking back up the isle!
