Anyone Use "Priceline"For Car Rental ?

Wondered what would be a reasonable bid for Minivan ?

I've made bids on Priceline, even for a minivan, but never was successful. If you decide to try, just research very carefully what the best rate you can get with a traditional reservation. It's often BETTER than what you can get through Priceline.

I have used Priceline for car rentals many times, although for a compact car rather than a minivan. First I very thoroughly research the prices via discount codes, coupons, etc. Then I make sure that my bid is lower and specify on on-airport site. I have gotten Avis, Alamo, and most recently Hertz (which is not technically on site). Overall I've been pleased with my Priceline rentals. I usually only rent a car for a day or two, so I can't get a very good price anyway. Also, twice they have upgraded me a car class (once Alamo and once Avis).
