Is this a new place?
Anyone ever tried it?
Would love some feedback.............
We've never used it, but living locally, know exactly where it is. Cocoa is on the mainland, about 10 miles from the dock. Even if it provides really good service and security, you have to wonder whether saving $5.50 a day is worth it when compared with the convenience of parking at the dock.
Many of the hotels in Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach offer free parking if you stay there the night before or after the cruise and offer free or low-cost shuttle service to the dock, which might be the most cost-effective and convenient solution.
Parking at the port went up to $20 a day the 1st of January, so it would be a savings of $11.50 for FL residents and $10.50 for others. More money to spend on the cruise but would love more info before making a decision.
Looks like a good deal with a free shuttle, half price compared to the one at dock.
Hopefully someone has some info on this, or possibly Shirley. Would save a lot when one doesn't want to deal with a hotel in the area the night before.
And even at $5.50 a day that's almost $40 a week for a 7 day cruise... IMHO that's probably worth it.
here is the direct link.....never tried it.but its 1/2 $ of what the Disney Port is..(parking at the PORT has gone up to $20.00 a day)
Why Wouldnt you use them?
There is 1 review and its good:
Used Park-N-Sail during our 7 day Carnival Dream cruise and I would give them a 5 star rating. Parking was easy and secure and the staff was very helpful loading our luggage onto the shuttle bus. After the cruise we called for return pickup and the bus was at the dock within 15 minutes again assisting with our luggage on and off. The rate was $8.50 a day as opposed to $15.00 at the pier. Will definitely use again.
Has anyone used this company before?? The price is great and will save us around $50 versus parking at the port. $50 we can use on the ship!!
Just wanting to hear some feedback if any!!
Thanks for your info!
I've merged your thread with another thread on the same subject. Hopefully there will be some more replies on this.
Well that is interesting.
What is interesting is that the page linked to describes all about taking you to the port- yet when describing distance they say .68 miles to the beach line... not telling you how the distance to the port, which would make more sense in context to the rest of everything said on that page. I mean it's all about parking there and how they'll get you to the port, but mentions some other distance that has nothing to do with the distance to the port! If you hadn't said 10mi... a lot of people would probably assume they are much closer, which was probably their intent.... hmmm
for me? $5.50 a day wouldn't really be worth it for all the hassle of that on a 7nt or less. But it might have been worth it on the 14nt. LOL
Since the parking rate at the port has been raised to $20/day, even on a short cruise it saves a lot of money.
Wow, when did it raise to $20? I just checked the other day!
Hmmm, I was heavily leaning towards just flying and renting a vehicle vs. driving- that's one more thing added making me think I should just fly. haha (Our trip is b2b so it's more than 7nights)
I talked to the guy at Park-N-Sail yesterday to see what the deal was. He said that Miami has gone up to $20 a day and sees Port Canaveral doing the same very soon but as of yesterday it was still $15 a day. He said that he has no plans on increasing his rates.
We will be coming from Orlando so would have to pass Park-N-Sail just to get to the port. So it looks like we will be giving it a try for our B2B's in May. So if the port does increase to $20 a day we will save $92.00. That is a good amount of money that we could use on the cruise!
I have been interested in finding out more about this place since the price is 1/2 what they charge at the port. But when I put the address into google maps this is what came up.
I can't figure out where it actually is based on the satallite photo
Looking forward to reading more reviews of other disboarders about this place...
Does anyone have any info on parking here?
