Anyone use DVC grocery delivery?

I know about WEgoshop.com and GardenGrocer.com, but has anyone used the DVC grocery shopping? Getting nervous about the first trip ever not renting a car and staying at VWL for the first time.

At $500 for 8 days, I can order a lot of food instead.

We used them on our last visit and when we were able to get into our room our food was there. Cold items in the fridge. We plan on using them again this trip.

Are they very expensive compared to GG? GG does a great job IMO.

Selections are more restricted than from the outside services. Order forms are available on the member website.

Do a one-day car rental from Alamo with pick-up at the airport and return to the Car Care Center or Dolphin resort.

Heard good things about Garden Grocer, too. Although we prefer to do our own shopping. Rather be able to pick my own produce and add/subtract items on the fly. That's worth an hour or two of vacation time, IMO.

I'd do either GG or the car rental before dealing with the inflated prices and limited selection of the Disney delivery service.

I have used GG twice after looking at selection and prices of Disney. I have had nothing but a great experience with GG. I order a little bit of produce...salad in a bag, bananas and a bowl of fresh cut fruit. Disney always does a great job of holding the groceries till we are in our villa. They have always delivered them to the room within 10 minutes of calling for them.

Also most resorts have a small selection of groceries. I know will BLT I was able to go over to CR for a small package of butter and a few other items when needed.

I am shocked at how overpriced they are! I believe it was $16 for a case of water. YIKES! I will not use them. Prices are ridiculous! I will use Garden Grocer. They are a little expensive but more reasonable!

WeGoShop is actually a personal shopper. We have never had a problem with them but we did have a order get screwed up with GG.

Now we rent a car, do our own shopping where we want, when we want and even eat off-site if we want.

Not dealing with Disney transportation is worth it for us.
