I have about three weeks until the 'ol PS-making-time rolls around and I figure it's time to fine-tune my itinerary. I'm working on last February's hours, as I doubt they will change much.
WHO: Me (34), my DD (2 1/2), my Mom (54), and my "baby" Sister (23)
WHEN: Saturday, February 5th through Saturday, February 12th
I have an AP, Mom and Sis will have PH's
SAT: flying nonstop out of PIT, will arrive at MCO at 2:00, towncar with grocery stop, checking in at WL maybe around 4:00 -- no specific plans tonight, check out the resort, grab dinner from Roaring Forks probably, take the boat over to the CR or MK and ride the monorails, maybe watch Wishes (8pm) from over there somewhere
(Superbowl) SUN: MK with (hopefully) a late Cinderella's breakfast, staying as long as we like depending on crowds -- afternoon break -- Epcot in the evening for Illuminations (9pm)
MON: sleep in, late breakfast (brunch?) at Chef Mickey's, then over to Epcot for the day, until we're ready to leave, no night-time plans (hmmm...maybe Mom will take DD back to WL and us "big girls" can stay later)
TUE: AK with a counter service lunch -- afternoon break -- MK for Spectro (7p) and Wishes (8p) with a counter service dinner (no time for sit-downs today)
WED: sleep in, Downtown Disney Marketplace -- short break -- over to Fort Wilderness for our 5:00 Hoop De Doo, and weather-permitting, maybe the 7:00 wagon ride afterwards
THU: this is our MGM day...all day. I'm a bit worried about this one, but can't seem to come up with anything better. The plan is to be there at opening with a Sci-Fi lunch at 12:00, staying for Beauty and the Beast, the Parade, and Fantasmic at 7:00. *IF I don't schedule a Dinner Pkg we could take a break after lunch, if it became necessary, and still be back in time for Fantasmic, allowing more flexibility. IF I do schedule the FDP then there's no way to fit in a break. I'm leaning towards not doing the package for that reason. (Plus, I like Sci-Fi, lol.)
FRI: MK at opening with an early lunch at Crystal Palace, leaving whenever we're ready -- afternoon break -- back to the MK for Wishes (7p).
SAT: our "go home and back to reality day"
Okay...what am I missing and what can I change/make better? DD and I don't need to see/do everything, we'll be back. I am, however, trying to balance having a good time with a toddler *and* showing my Mom and Sister a good time also.
TIA
