Okay, is it me or is the DIS different today???


So it's report card day!! DS10 got 7 A's and 2 B's! DS13 (wow that's hard to type ) got 8 A's and 1 B and made the High Honor Roll for Middle School!! They just earned themselves a little Disney money!!




2 WEEKS!!! 2 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to the boys!!! Great report cards!
It was a good day at our house too.
My DS14 gets his R.C. mailed to the house. They start doing that at the H.S. I could however see his grades on line. He made highest honors for the 3rd time!!!! We are so proud of him especially b/c we thought the transition to H.S. would be rough. He got 5 As and 3 Bs.
DS10 is on trimesters so he got his last month he did well too.

The DIS is definitely acting up. It was down for hours last night but it's being weird today too... I'm only getting email notifications on some of the threads I'm subbed to, but not others - including my own PTR.

Congrats to your boys for great report cards! Alex had a great one too! Zach doesn't get letter grades yet but his was great too!

I have a thread i am doing, and when I went to mulitquote it wouldnt let me,,said to contact a moderator,...then when i tried later, it had quoted a thing from someone about not having a bridal shower... what the heck!? And, where you pick font, color and such at the top, mine is all weird and won't let me have anything but black.

That is weird that it quoted something totally different!

I know, it is a huge pain to pick the font, size and color now. I hope they get it fixed.

We ended up getting pizza t BW Pizza twice it is on the DP now and not a bad deal. I have to disagree slightly about it being the best but it was decent and sitting on the Boardwalk to eat made up for anything the pizza lacked.

I know you did not care for Via Napoli but we loved the pizza there.

I see you are going to Tony's this trip. The restaurant is lovely. Our server was just ok. The food was good except I now understand why so many people complain about the sauce. It is not cooked enough the onions in it was on the raw side, being Italian I prefer my sauce being simmered for hours. We both had the Spaghetti and meat balls, which were good and would go back again but try something different for our entrees.

Pizza Planet--- I thought their Ceasar salad was good; that was a surprise to me. The pizza was ehhh- I got the veggie one-- but Belle ate good there so I was happy with it all together. You know how THAT goes.

Never had the taco salad at Pecos Bills, I know you talk about it a lot--- and I've never been to Casey's before! I'll have to remember the corn dog nuggets for Drew for a snack next time we are in MK. Homeslice is eating me out of house and home. ALWAYS hungry, always complaining about being hungry.

We thought the BWI pizza was much better than that pizza that is served all over WDW - you know at the food courts, at Pizzafari, at Pizza Planet. Not good. Plus feeding the entire family for $20 at WDW made it even better!!

Yeah, getting a pizza on the BW isn't a must do, but I figure we will end up spending a lot of time in that area so it's a good possibility that we will end up there!

DS13 likes the pizza at pizza planet. DS10 doesn't think it was great. That may be one of those days where we just grab snacks and stuff along the way.

I like the taco salad at Pecos because you basically put whatever you want on it. They just give you the shell and seasoned beef (which is so much better than the places that slap nasty chili on it and call it a taco salad ) and then you can add what you want for toppings and aren't stuck picking things off! IDK if you would like it though because all the toppings are on a 'fixins bar', kind of like a buffet.

You've got to get Drew's bottomless pit of a stomach to Casey's!! I know what you mean, DS13 is the same way most days anymore. Acting like I am starving him or something. Seems like he is constantly grazing. He is getting taller, but not a bit wider. Never gains a pound.

Yeah, DS13 is the only one here who likes the pizza at PP. DH will eat it, but he will eat just about anything.

The Marketplace at the BC is like a tiny food court I guess. Just one station though I think. It's in the back of the gift shop. And then there is outdoor seating across the hall. I'm sure we will be checking it all out, so I'll let you know all about it.

We went to B&C when we stayed at the BWI. It was okay, but not great. We went for dinner though, not for desserts! Maybe we'll pop in there for ice cream this time!

You should make a plan to go over to the BW area sometime. There are lots of places to eat. I would recommend BRG if you want a table service meal, and if you just want to grab something and eat out on the BW I would say get the pizza! Go in the evening when the BW entertainment is out -- it's a lot of fun!!

I can't believe you've never eaten at Sunshine Seasons!!!! That is our fav counter service place in all of WDW. Tony and I usually split the 1/2 chicken with 2 sides, but last time I got the chicken caeser salad. Delish!!! The strawberry shortcake there is amazing too. Yummy!

Never been to Casey's. We're really picky about our hot dogs here in Buffalo. Plus, no one in my family likes corn dogs. Never been to Pizza Planet either. Again, very picky about pizza. We LOVED Via Napoli though...I know you didn't care for it. That margherita pizza makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Nice thin crust....Ah! I'm getting hungry!

We love Pecos Bills and Cosmic Ray's at MK. We always ate at Cosmic Ray's on every trip when I was little. Brings back so many memories. We also like Columbia Harbor House and Pinocchio Village Haus.

Already mentioned our favo CS in Epcot. We liked La Cantina last time too. Very yummy tacos and churros! At DHS, I'm not crazy about many of their CS places. We've done Backlot Express (good), Rosie's (good), and Studio Catering Company (a little better than good).

We LOVED Flametree BBQ on our last trip at AK. Delicious! We liked Pizzafari too, but the pizza was just ok. The crust was yummy though! I got a frozen chai on our last trip and it was delicious. I believe it was over by Yak and Yeti. Can't wait for one of those again!

Wasn't Sunshine Seasons on my list??? We have been there before, once. It wasn't a great experience. It was super crowded and the lines were huge and we had to search & search for a table. That was probably 3-4 years ago, so I think we are ready to give it another try. We'll see...

We tried to go to Pinocchio Village Haus last summer but they didn't have power. It was weird, everywhere else did.

DHS is really lacking for CS choices. IDK where we will end up there. Probably just pick snacks up along the way and then end up at Pizza Planet for DS13.

If we were going to AK we would probably try Flametree. Maybe next year!
