anyone tried the new breakfast at Maya Grill yet?

Know CSR axed the buffet this week has anyone tried the new ts breakfast yet and was it any better than the rubbish served in the Pepper Market?

Oh, that makes me sad! There were a few mornings the line at Pepper market was really long so we went to that buffet and were done before we would have even gotten seated at Pepper Market! Non-buffet meals totally ruin that chance.

thanks - we are Maya Grill buffet addicts and it is our main reason for continuing to return to CSR although we also love the pools and grounds. I can see why they have called it a day as it is never very busy but it would have been nice for them to have swapped it for a family style to cut down on waste but still have kept the same type of mexican twist breakfast food. Sadly missed here!

Ok, so a la carte menu is in place at Maya Grill breakfast. It was not busy at all, as the poor servers were just standing around.

The menu has traditional fare as well as Mexican inspired (a steak ranchero burrito type thing). I got the traditional breakfast and Orange Juice and paid $15 (almost as much as the buffet). Son's mickey waffle meal was $5, so cheaper for kids and enough food.

Other offerings included a breakfast skillet (cheese, eggs, meat), lighter fare such as continental breakfast, oatmeal, parfaits, etc etc.

Overall, I'd have been happier with the buffet, though breakfast was fine here. I miss being able to just get in and out without waiting.

Thanks for taking the trouble to feedback. I do love their breakfast burritos and that sounds good but I shall miss the buffet. Perhaps if business remains slow they may revert before our trip in October.

Sounds like the quality was ok though, always found MG quality to be in general very good and PM in general to be poor.
