Anyone tried the Firm workouts?

I've been seeing the Firm Fanny Lifter with weight bar commercial and it looks interesting. I used to do step aerobics in college and liked it alot. I've seen the WATP commercials but..sorry..that looks soooo boring to me. I don't think marching in my living room is really going to give me the workout that 'I' need. I know alot of people who really like them but don't think it's for me.

so..anyone tried this wokout? do you like it? would you recommend it? any other workouts anyone would recommend?

I have a treadmill that I use (and a bowflex standing in the corner :rolleyes: ) but I wanted something for variety.

I have,
I love them. I was using them 3 days a week, and I really started to see results. They really kick my butt. They are hard though. I still haven't got all the moves down, and I try to just do my own thing when they are doing them. Try going to the www.weightwatchers.com bulletin boards. There are two exercise boards and there is usually alot of people on thier that love the FIRM. I had to stop about a month or so ago until after cheerleading and my Disney trip. I was working out 6 days a week, at night after cheer, weight watchers and everything else. I got so wore out that it was killing me. I really can't wait to start. I do the firm 3 days a week, and 3 days of WATP. The WATP Walk away weights is great. I do like that one, but the firm is much harder.

I own 8 FIRM videos. I have used four of them every week, for over a year. They are the best. I have the original 4 tape box & use Upper Body and Tough Tape II. Both are 40-45 minutes, my ideal long workout. I also own the next 4 tape box( with the Fanny Lifter) & use AB Sculpt and Body Sculpt, during the week. The AB tape is less than 30 minutes. The Body Sculpt breaks up into 2 thirty minute tapes or one 45 minute tape. The shorter workouts are great for work days. I am in the process of looking for some new tapes to add to my collection. I have lost about 65 pounds, but I credit the FIRM with changing (& improving) my body in ways I couldn't have imagined.
 
THe FIRM is awesome! I use the tapes too. They do everything in the commericial they claim to do. I use them about 3xtimes a week when i can. They give you the results! I love the ab sculpt it's the easiest for me to follow and only takes 20 minutes to do. I bought mine at walmart. I use a rubber maid step stool instead of the lifter they have for you to purchase it works just fine. I love the video and highly recommend them. Also i credit the watp tapes to my success. They are NOT as boring as they look. They challenge you to keep up and you feel great once you finish the tape. I love the 2 mile walk that's just perfect for me and my time limit to exercise. I hope you will give them a try you can get the 1, 2, 3 miles box set with an ab belt at wal mart for about 20 bucks or so. It's NOT a waste of time or money try them and you will see what we mean. You don't JUST march!
 

I hope I did not offend anyone about the WATP videos. It seems like EVERYONE on this board does them so they must be good. I just don't think the infomercial does it justice. I don't usually go to Walmart so I might check that out. You can't beat that price for another workout option!! Thanks!! I ordered the Firm so we'll see how it goes!!
