~~~Anyone tried Five Fingers footwear for the parks???
These "shoes" are the opposite of crocs. These are truly like walking barefoot so if you have bad arches, stay away from these! I can use these for grassy areas but for concrete, not a chance. I tried them on in the store and they are like wearing socks.
I have high arches and low ankles...looks like they're not for me!
I have 2 surgically fused big toes - they could have been invented just for me.
I love mine. I'm taking them for the first time to the World in August.
For people with high arches the website says...
"HOW CAN I TELL IF FIVEFINGERS ARE RIGHT FOR MY FEET?
Experience is the best benchmark. Generally speaking, people with very flat feet should gradually transition to wearing Vibram FiveFingers. People with high arches tend to have the shortest break in time and fewest problems."
They look so weird.:) I think I am a traditional girl. They remind me Nike walking shoes with 1 toe separated from the rest, but all five, looks like a glove for feet.:)
