Anyone think preferred rooms at POR will be renovated by 10/2011?

We are staying at POR from 10/30 to 11/7 and have a preferred room. We love POR but do feel the rooms are a little run down. Anyone have a good guess if the preferred rooms will be renovated by 10/30? Thanks, Linda

I haven't been paying much attention to the refurb schedule. Is it POFQ or does it also include POR?

Word is that they'll be finished with the POFQ rehab by the end of April. It is taking about a month/building and buildings 7 and 6 are now completed and they are working on building 4. As soon as they finish POFQ they are supposed to start over on the mansions at PORS. If they stick to the building/month schedule then by the end of Oct about 6 buildings at PORS should be close to completion. The only thing is that someone over on the POFQ FAQ thread said they heard the PORS buildings may take a little longer. Not sure why though. My understanding is that the preferred rooms are going to be in the Alligator Bayou buildings 15, 14, 18, and 27. Since they are doing the mansions first, then by the end of Oct all four mansions should be done and only maybe one or two of the Bayou buildings.
