we got home Saturday. The weather is beautiful :sunny: We had one evening where the skies were a little threatening, but other than that it was clear skies!

the crowds? well, it is spring break.....I heard several CMs mention that last week was much better than the week before (the week after Easter). The only 2 days we had trouble were Wednesday at the MK, which got VERY crowded as the day wore on into the evening EMH, and Epcot on Friday. Lots of Spring Breakers, and lots of FL kids on day-trips to the park.

Not unmanageable, by any means, but definitely busy.

I am trying to decide whether or not to try MK EMH Wednesday night when we are there. You said that it got crowded as the day wore on. When did you get there and how long did you stay? Can you tell me what the waits looked like? ::MickeyMo

I would also like to know what wendy1974 asked. On Wednesday 4/20 we are planning on going to AK during the day then heading over to MK for the night EMH. Sounds like the night EMH's are crowded, I'm starting to wonder if its such a good idea to head over to MK that evening.

There are probably increased crowds now because I know some places are out on spring break now. There are several schools around here that are out this week for spring break. I think everything got screwed up with Easter being so early this year.

I would think by the 20th though most breaks will be done. I haven't heard of anyone being on break later than this week.

We were there April 3-10, and my SIL and BIL were there a few days before the 3rd. (They don't plan at all--yikes, and I heard from MIL that the parks were at capacity some of those days).

As for us, I can say that the crowds died down as the week progressed. We were at MK Monday the 4th and Saturday the 9th, and the 9th was much, much less crowded.

We went to evening magic hours Wedneday the 6th at MK and, while we had fun, we were somewhat disappointed that it was so much more crowded than e-ride nights were during our 2003 honeymoon.

We went to the MK at opening--already, it was more crowded than the park was on Tuesday. That was the first thing we noticed. The waits weren't bad for the first 90 min or so. We left the park around noon and people were streaming into the park....that should have been a red flag for us about the evening, LOL.

We arrived back at the park around 7:30-8:00pm. We walked around a little bit, and decided to get a spot for Wishes and have a snack, since it was clear that we weren't going to be riding anything. I waited 30 minutes to get a funnel cake at Sleepy Hollow

After the fireworks, we were able to pop onto Small World. There was no one in line then. After that, my kids and DH saw Mickey's Philharmagic. I surveyed the crowds while they were in the show--the lowest wait I saw was 30 minutes for the Mad Tea Party and there were NO fastpasses available anywhere that I saw.

We gave up soon after--before 10:00pm. When we were leaving the Magic Kingdom, there were still lots of people coming into the park.

We went back on Thursday and the difference was incredible. The crowds were definitely lighter, well into the day (we left the park at 2:00)

We were at MK on the 5th and 6th. The crowds on the 5th weren't too bad at all- was a little hairy getting out of the park after Wishes, but that was to be expected. When we returned to MK on the 6th (EMH), we were there at opening and the crowds were a little heavier. Then as the day wore on, the crowd level had increased significantly when we left around 4:00pm.
